In short: you can use MCQIndia's CBSE and Olympiad practice material without registering or logging in. The questions are checked in your browser, and we do not store your answers or results. If you choose to write to us, we receive only what you type.
1. Who we are
MCQIndia.com is an independent educational website offering study notes and practice questions for school students in India. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean MCQIndia.com. You can reach us at admin@mcqindia.com.
2. Using the practice material
- You do not need an account, and we do not ask for your name, email, phone number, school or class. The only place we ask for a name and email is the contact form, and only so we can reply to you.
- When you pick an option in a question bank, the page checks it inside your browser. The answer is not sent to us.
- We do not store your answers, scores or progress on our servers.
- Our pages do not set cookies and do not use your browser's local storage to keep information about you.
- We do not use advertising or analytics tools on these pages.
3. Information we do receive
| What | How | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time | Automatically, in standard web server logs kept by our hosting provider | To deliver the site, keep it secure and fix faults |
| Your name, email address and message | Only if you send us a message through the contact form or by email | To read and reply to your message |
4. Third-party services
To display the site's typefaces, each page loads fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser requests them, Google receives your IP address and basic browser information. See Google's own privacy policy for how it handles that data. We do not send Google anything else.
Some pages link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
5. How long we keep information
Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for the period set by its own settings. Messages you send us, by the contact form or by email, arrive in our email inbox and are kept for as long as needed to deal with your message and to track corrections, and you can ask us to delete them.
6. Children and students
MCQIndia is made for school students, many of whom are under 18. Because the CBSE and Olympiad practice pages do not collect personal information, a student can use them without giving us any. We ask students not to include personal details when writing to us, and parents or guardians are welcome to write to us on their behalf.
7. NEET and JEE practice exams
The NEET and JEE section may require you to register and log in to practice exams. Timed exams in that section save your results so that you can review them, which means that, unlike the CBSE and Olympiad practice above, they involve an account and stored data. The pages in that section will say clearly, before you start, what is collected and why, and this policy will be updated before that section opens to the public. Nothing in the CBSE or Olympiad practice material works this way.
8. Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold from your messages, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask any question about this policy by writing to admin@mcqindia.com. You can also block third-party font loading with your browser's privacy settings; the site will still work with default fonts.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
